The roads are nicely sealed and rather void of cars. There are a few small descents/ascents but nothing too strenuous and the countryside is beautiful. Cycle down little country lanes, past farms and small hamlets (complete with country pubs). This is a well known and used cycle ride, where cyclists and locals nod at each other.
